How much will it be to drop-off my HHW?

The price for recycling and disposal for HHW is determined by the weight, quantity and type of material.

For the most part, the price is $0.75 per pound.

The average Hazman Customer has 80 pounds of household hazardous waste, therefore, the average Hazman Customer price is $60.00

To view a complete price list, click on the Materials tab.  Payment acceptable by cash, check, and most credit cards.

What happens to the HHW after I drop it off?

First, the material is identified and accepted at the Hazman Drop-Off Center.

Next, our chemist sorts and segregates the material based on it's chemical and physical characteristics.

Then, the material is consolidated into drums, pails, or cubic yard boxes for shipping.

Once the shipping containers are full, they are shipped out to various different facilities for treatment or recycling.

99% of the material accepted into Hazman is recycled or reused.
